The new 5 K cross country course in Panthers- ,ville is considered tobe one of the toughest in 'D the state eibut five individuals set seven school records and four county records on this course. The'B-team girls won the county champion- ship by finishing first second third fourth and sixth. No other school has scored better in a county meet. Caren Crowl and Chrissy Crowl finished third and fourth in the region meet- thus they qualified for the state meet. At state, Caren finished fourth and Chrissy fin- ished eighth.
