The VarsiTy Cheerleaders have shown so much spiriT This year ThaT iT has finally rubbed off on The sTudenT body. The cheerleaders have worked hard To accomplish This near impossible Task and we asked Lori LipshuTz and Karen PaTTerson To fill us in on some of The Things They do ThaT The sTudenT body isn'T aware of. Be- fore school even sTarTs in The Fall, The cheerleaders have already per- fecTed Their cheers and sTunTs for The upcoming season. They are aT The school aT 7:00 AM every morn- ing in The summer and spend one exhausTing week aT Auburn for cheerleading camp. This year The squad won T5 ribbons and The SpiriT Frisbee. They provide The fooTball Team and baskefball Team wiTh sup- porT during Their respecTive season. They bring Them baked goods in The WinTer and popsicles in The Summer. They had To be aT Z-93 radio sTaTion aT 5:30 A.M. in order To have STeve McCoy record The dance They per- formed aT The pep rally.
