Varsity Gains Experience Even Though The Henderson base- ball Team suffered Through iTs worsT season in five years, Things weren'T all Thai bad according To Coach Randy Lee. The finai record was 6 and 42, with all 6 wins coming dgainsl sub-region opponems. The highllghis of The season included a vicTory over sub-region champion Tucker High School, and a near per- fecT game againsT ForsyTh Couniy. One of The reasons The Cougar Team suffered was due To The inex- perlence of a younger Team. The Cougars sTarTed five juniors in key posiTion. Frank Vashaw was named as The Team's ouislanding player and is currenTly playing college baseball aT Georgia Southern.
