IN MEMORIAM Lovely, Smiling Lady Behind an office desk. Who your life affected One can only guess. But as you walked with us For such a short today, Look at how you touched us With your quiet, gentle ways. A thoughtful deed, a gentle word. A bad boy? A naughty girl? Nothing in your eyes ever showed All we got was an encouraging word. Many make the trip through life Leaving their talents hidden deep But yours shine brightly through To make life more sweet. We will long remember Your loving, kindly ways. And our lives will be fuller Because you walk with such grace. Hut cherish this day and do not weep For each memory we’ll always keep. Life will go on and we’ll start anew We’ll have old friends and find new ones too. DEDICA TION It is a pleasure for the 1981-1982 Yearbook Staff to dedicate our 20th volume Hilltop Highlights to a person who has put forth so much of his time and effort to the H.C.S. School. He has not only helped us in class, but also in sports. When we needed a coach he was there to help us out, reaching out to people to let them know he was there. Letting us know that he really does care. At times praising people for the work they have done and criticizing them when they needed it. He has some special characteristics about him that make him No. I. He has helped our school through roller-skating, swimming, and many other outside school activities. At times, we are sure he has said to himself, “Is this all worth it?” It must have been since he has stayed here and watched us grow. So what can we all say but, “Thanks a lot for being our teacher and helper throughout the years.”
