Yearbook Staff This year the senior class, under the guidance of Mr. Howlett, threw its support solidly behind the production of the yearbook. Likewise, Mr. Caster, our senior English teacher, entered the act with new and unusual ideas for improving the school annual. Student leadership roles were played by Robert Miller and Linda Taylor who were elected to the offices of editor and business manager respectively. As this is written, we are in the process of trying to meet publisher’s deadlines. Perhaps this is a good thing. We might never get the job done unless there were deadlines to meet! Naturally, we hope you enjoy this year’s version of the yearbook. True, there may be some errors and omissions but, we hasten to point out, they were not in- tentional. So happy reading to you and thanks for your support in making the ideas con- tained herein a reality. The Yearbook Staff

Dedication Dortha M. Quackenbush The highest honor a yearbook staff can bestow is the dedication of an issue to a friend and benefactor of Hen- derson Central School. This year’s staff takes great pleasure in dedicating Volume VIII of Hilltop Highlights to Miss Quackenbush. For more years than most of us can remember, business education at Henderson Central School and Miss Quackenbush have been nearly synonymous. Now at last we appreciate your high standards in teaching, Miss Quackenbush, along with your insistence on excellence, your sense of humor and willingness to help others. We are proud to dedicate this book to you in token of our respect and admiration. The Staff
