Rams- dell. YEARBOOK STAFF The Yearbook faces two major problems: the actual production of the school annual and earning the necessary money to pay for it. We are proud of our tradition of not selling advertising to finance our Yearbook. Also we are grateful to the Student Council for helping make ends meet last year. We hope eventually to become a self-sustaining activity. This year we had an earlier deadline to meet for our publisher. Fortunately, many of the staff were willing to remain after school and assist with the typing, pasting, and other tasks necessary for com- pletion of the book. The staff wishes to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped in any way to make Volume V of Hilltop Highlights a reality. 5 The Staff

DEDICATION Some people serve their fellow men in the grandiose, spectacular manner; others accomplish the same results by a kindly word, a helping hand and an ear turned to the troubles, real and imagined, of others. Mrs . Horton, our school nurse, belongs in the latter category. Who of us students has not had the benefit of Mrs. Horton's healing touch to a bump or a bruise? Who has not left her office feeling that the world in general and school in particular were not such bad places after all because here was a person willing to hear us out? Who of us has not felt her kindly influence in the clinic, the cafeteria, the library and even in our own home ? To you, Mrs. Horton, we dedicate with grateful hearts Volume V of Hilltop Highlights. In this small way we are trying to say thank you for all that you have done for all of us. The Staff 4
