Following was the parade with floats streaming down the street as if they really were floating. The band, sounded with drums, trumpets and trombones, the delicate flute's shrill and the chiming of the xylophone. The football game, in spite of the double overtime lose to Clinton (23 to 20), highlighted the thrill of Homecoming '76 with the usual excitement of a Mustang football game.
