Learn- ing the many facts about our past civili- zation and the development of our pres- our way of living, has long been an inter- esting and important factor of our school life. If it were not for the past we would not have the present, so we must allow ourselves to have more time to do research in both history and geography, for with- out them, we would be lost. ln establish- ing a history club this year, we have suc- ceeded in reaching this goal. We need a more clear understanding of life and ifs development and here in our history class- room is where we shall achieve this goal. The math department, under the super- vision of Mr. Hayes, has ben working steadily to develop better and higher math courses for those who show interest and ability in this field. With the growing need for more mathematicians in the scientific and teaching fields, this department has supported two math clubs, the Junior Math Club for freshmen and sopohomores and Tupiar Club for iuniors and seniors, to lure interested and able followers.
