Senior Class Officers'-'Norman , Anderson, secretary: George bloc- Dowell, president: Mildren Wyse. i'ic4--president: Phyllis Stafford, ireosf urer. Miss Florence Hall was the guiding light for llic Senior Cluss of l942. WW REWARDED FOR YEARS or EFFORT I TS no military secret that the Senior Class of 1942 is going places and doing things. Many are planning to secure further training in some type of school or college. Some hoys will join the armed forces, and many girls will he securing permanent johs. After four years full of all sorts of unforgetahle happenings, of laughter and thrills, and an occasional worry, the seniors have discovered that all things must end, even high school days. The quartet that has lcept the hest-ever-seniors on the straight and narrow for the year of 1942 includes George lVlacDowell of the crew-cut hair, Mildred Wyse with her captivating smile, Phyllis Stallord lcnown for her musical ahility, and Norman Andersen noted for his part in sports. Miss Florence and her popular assistants, Miss Ahhott, Miss Bennett, and Miss Schultz, gave the seniors timely advice and considerable help when important decisions had to he made. I They've acquired it, we hope, that thing called dignity. Now theylre nearly at the top with diplomas in full view. Soon they'll step into a world different from that experi- enced hy any senior class since 1917. But we lcnow that they will accomplish great things and that they have left behind with Tohias many of their friends. Good luclc, Class of 1942l 25
