A lfiiaturg nf the Glnlnnial For the past seven years staffs of steadily increasing size have been giving to the school this book, our Colonial. Miss Ratelle and Miss lleattie were pioneers in 1923, supervising a staff of twelve, led by Renwick Hurry. With the increasing work in 1924, the advisers became tive and the staff sixteen, of which lra Hansen was at the head. The staff of 1925 headed by lired Miller, as well as that of '26 under Roger Whitman. was guided by Mr, lloward Goldy- ln both issues a delightful history of the school for twenty years was recorded. Our own Miss Munger was the author in '25, and Miss lfugenia Miller in '26. Still greater progress was made in 1927 by Sherwood Silliinan and his staff. l.e:l by Miss Hilda Roberts this enjoyable book was dedicated to Miss Powell. Miss Roberts remained at the helni for half of 1928g Miss Eastburn com- pleted the work. and a most interesting book resulted. This Colonial was dedica- ted to Miss Grace S. Reed. Miss lh1C1J6I'l1101t had the honor of being the dedicatee in 1929 of a most original volume. which had at its head Miss liastburn. Duncan liallantine filled very competently the otlice of editor-in-chief. lt was decided in 1929 to date the Colonial in honor of the graduating class instead of using the date of the junior class, A Under Mrs. l.yla Davis, a stall led hy blames Hoyt turned out a book of truly ln line Greek style.
