The long halls are quiet and empty and y lonely, but they are i marked with the sounds of students and teachers who l pass through them and who are now gone. When they are empty, these hallowed halls seem so long that one will never reach the end. But as the army of l yellow machines gathers together its orces and descends upon our school each day-like a swarm of bumblebees going after an intrfuder in their hive or an Apache tribe on the Warpath- these same halls seem to diminish in length. As the first busload of l teens begins to pour into the building, the walls and halls reverberate with the chatter of youth, they echo sounds of laughter and talking, ossi in and ri in . ghe busgs filled xlljitlg restless teens, and the long, lonely corridors seem to go hand-in-hand as they greet us each morn or the start of another academic day.
