Besides providing on the road experience, students enrolled in this course also have classes in which they see safety Elms, receive expert guidance, and have am- ple opportunity for discussion of any questions that might arise. Any student who has three free periods a week and is sixteen years of age or older is eligible to be considered for this course. OUTSIDE WORLD BROUGHT :O STUDENTS WHILE IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION Basketball, softball, volleyball, archery, and tumbling, were but a fevv of the activities offered to girls within the Physical Education Department this past year. In addition to these, soccer, wrestling, touch football, table tennis, shuffle-board and track events vvere given to boys. All students must complete three years of physical education in order to meet state requirements to graduate. The department stresses building a strong and healthy body, and it provides a chance tor' development ot individual skills as vvell as a sense of fair play and team vvork.
