UNCEASINGLY STRIVED TO DEVELOP STUDENT'S TALENTS Mrs, Patrick, our capable home economics teacher, watches as linda Poole and Rose Marie Damato show her the proper way set a table. Rose Marie won Grst place in the La-Jean Green contest, white Linda came in second place. FINE ARTS 30,000 people heard the accom- plishments of our vocal groups and the attainment of four adept instrumental groups. The obiectives of the music departments are education, school and community service, four part singing, and extensive learning about different instruments. The Arts and Crafts Program, which develops the students ability to create, observe, and to respond appropriately to harmonious, suitable, and functional environment, is highly indi- vidualized allovving each student a full oppor- tunity to develop his art talents, HOME ARTS interested girls and boys con- tribute to better home and family living, through development of basic techniques and sl4iFls in the homemaking activities. Demonstra- tions are given by the teacher or a home economist, actual experiences are carried out in the laboratory, tield trips are taken to in- formative locations, Visual aids, hlms and filmstrips are also used to supplement ordinary classroom procedures. The active club connected with this course is the Future I-lomemakers Association.
