FACULTY Taught that traditions merge with new ideas SCIENCE - MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENTS are very active. Students interested in engineering, technical fields, college en- trance or specific areas of science and mathematics are encouraged to take these courses in preparation for their vocation. The science department provides classroom activity, field trips, and a Science Club for those students interested and enrolled in the departmental courses. Movies illustrat- ing the principles of science are shown in classes. Excellent laboratory facilities are provided for experiments. The mathematics curriculum provides a com- prehensive foundation for further study required by institutions of higher learning. Practical knowledge in mathematics is also taught. Larry Allen and Barbara Perhac discuss plans for the foreign exchange student with Mr. Curiale.
