With the exception of minimum standards established by the State government the type of education and facilities afforded the children of the area is largely the responsibility of the local board of education. This board must recognize the needs of the chil- dren and must sense the desires and aspirations of the community and provide type of education which will fulfill these needs and desires. This senior high school, with its functional fea- tures was designed to meet these needs, and is dedicated to the educational and general wel- fare of our children, our community, state, and nation.
