Sandy-She'd stop St. Peter's roll call to ask a question. Larry-Graduation will be only his beginning. Mary Jane-Seas of laughter will follow her hereafter. Tom-Look out work, here I come. Larry Bell Ron Bethke Ron-I like the sound of gasoline exploding in my Chevy machine. Chuck-You name it, I'll paint it. Joy-She looks quiet and demure, but I wouldn't be to sure. Joyce Brown Carl Bruse Debbie-Fling away studies, fling away care, I'm off for a good time, so come if you dare. Dan-He may become another Arthur Murry. Janice-A rare girl whose talents are unending. Frances-Her smile will take her a long way. Barb-Her friends, they are many, her foes are there any? Rusty-Curls are his trademark. Joyce-Just being happy is lots of fun. Judy-I'm just one of those dumb (?) beautiful blonds. Dan-Some think he's quiet, but others know better. Bill-Take life too seriously and what is it worth. Larry-I never let my studies interfere with my education. Rose Ann-She's got a title to go with her white thumb. Larry Fehn Rose Ann Frollo Donna-Every good girl has her mischievous moments. Maxine-She's an individual with individuality. Tim-Is it true blondes have more fun? Joe-If school is liberty, give me death. Karen-She was made for happy thoughts, for playful wit and laughter. Bill-Sometimes quiet, sometimes shy, but you couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Sharla-Too much learning is a dangerous thing. I keep out of danger. Connie-I changed my mind but it still doesn't work any better. Paula-Her mind is here, but her heart is elsewhere. Bill-Who says smoking stunts your growth. Frank-Lead me not into temptation, but show me where it is. Pat-Our own Jolly Green Bean Queen. Pat-A little good, a little bad, always smiling, never sad. Ron-It's not what you do, but what you get away with that counts. Sally- Quietness” is her middle name. Sally Kelly 14 Jim-Small packages sometimes explode. Jon-The stream of life flows on without disturbing him. Joe-It's a great life if you don't weaken. Dick-Enjoy what you can. Do what you must. Tom-It's better to wear out than to rust out. Danny-They caught me studying, I'll never live it down. Bill-He's king on the field and at the ball. Michele-You ask the question, she has the answer. Sharon-Not very tall, awful small, fair and sweet and liked by all. Ron-I would like to be a woman hater, but I don’t have the nerve. Glen-A ham who has never been cured. Floyd-Greater men have lived, but I doubt it. Dave-A more dedicated loafer will never be found. Dorothy-If only books were men’s looks, I’d love to study. Jim-Sandbagger is his name. Dort-Hmm, those parties I missed. Jerry-Spends his money on wine, women, and song, and the rest he wastes. Mark-I’m not crazy. I just act that way to entertain people. Jean-Generally speaking, she's generally speaking. Jennifer-She drove us up the ruddy woll (wall). Carolyn-She's always in the “Pink but she'd rather be in the blue. Linda-Live wire creates a Spark. Barry-Yup, she'll do 23 wide open. Donna-She has a smile for every girl, two for every boy. Dave-He's tops and not only of his class. This section intends to give you an understanding of what goes on at Hemlock High in the classroom. Physics—To learn how and why things happen as they do. To train our students to observe things that happen and form logical and reasonable deductions. Chemistry—Chemistry deals with atoms and molecules—the building blocks of matter. Our Aim: Careful and thoughtful observation of change in matter. Geometry—To encourage logical thinking—a basic for later math work. Trigonometry—To help prepare the student for later work in Math, Chemistry, Physics. Algebra—I and II—To equip students with the necessary knowledge needed to succeed in college courses that require Algebra as a prerequisite. General Math—To provide students with the mathematical knowledge needed in every- day life. Business Math—It “Gives you the business” on business from the standpoint of both the consumer and businessman. English Literature—To develop in students a mature response to the human experi- ence provided in literature; to the author’s imaginative illumina- tion of that experience; and to the artistic form in which the experience is presented. English 9—To provide an introduction to literature; general coverage of grammar; and a basic introduction to writing. Spanish—Our primary goals are to learn to speak, understand, read and write Span- ish. In an effort to attain such goals, we also hope to further our under- standing of different people and their geography, history and culture. World History—An introduction to world history with a emphasis on Western Civili- zation. Helps to provide a background for further study in History. Business Education—To help educate us to be intelligent consumers of the services of business and to help provide specific vocational training for use in the business world. Family Living—Offered to upper classmen to give them an opportunity to increase their understanding of inter-personal relationships, home manage- ment processes, community citizenship and career opportunities.
