That friend, the old high school building, has long been a part of our town and of our lives. As we sit among our new surroundings we find our eyes wandering to the windows to gaze at it. If we could recall only a minute part of all the memories we have shared there, what a fortune that would be. Some- times we laughed, sometimes we cried; but always the school stood calm, undaunted, and ready to greet us. Regardless of what we felt one day we were happy to be a part of it the next. Here at Hemlock we are only a very small part of the great educational system of our State, nation, and world, but still we are like one big family held together by com- mon interest, activities, and tradition. Our old building was the center about which our lives revolved up until a few short months ago. Even though it has been replaced by a new building it will never be replaced in our hearts and minds. 2 RICHARD CAMPBELL Trustee WILBERT PREUSS Trustee Sccfr uKteKdeKt 'PxtKCtfuU EDWIN KILBOURN ROLLAND BENFORD Mrs. Lucille Yahn Home Economics Mr. Larry Baumann Civics—Coach 5 Mr. Charles McKenna Civics--Coach Mrs. Sally Horton Speech--Gym Mr. David Carter Music Mr. John Axtell Driver training 6 ■«i Se $ Mechanic Francis Bell Bus Drivers, L. to R.--J.
