Seniors With only nineteen members, the senior class of 1983 was one of the smallest classes to graduate from Hemingford High School in a number of years. Because we are such a small class, we've really become a close-knit group, one senior commented. The class graduated on Sunday, May 15 during a 4 o'clock ceremony, a depar- ture from the traditional evening commencement exercises. Dana Jespersen, student council president, and Michelle Delsing, student council vice-president, made graduation comments on behalf of the senior class. Ed Planansky, high school guidance counselor presented nineteen scholarships to several members of the graduating class. Class officers during the senior's final year of high school were Bill Foley (president), Rex Horstman (vice-president), Shannon Cullan (secretary), Robyn Morriss (treasurer), Michelle Chaney and Nick Dannar (student council represen- tatives). Lyle Fodnes, high school principal, was class sponsor. 6
