The Seniors took a 3- day sneak trip to Denver, including side trips, a fabulous evening at the Ice Capades, and a most wonderful and exciting view of the city off of the First National Bank. On the return trip home, we traveled through Fort Collins and Estes Park. We had a picnic at Love- land Park in Loveland, Colorado, and had a lot of fun. History Becky Kampbell is the only one with us who has been here since the 4th grade. Jan Vedder came to the Hemingford Public Schools during her 6th grade year and Conn Fickel then joined this school in the 8th grade. In our Freshman class there were 15 of us. They were Betty Dyer, Conn Fickel, Teresa Gasseling, Joyce Herbaugh, Tom Hewitt, Rebecca Kampbell, Mike Kiger, Sharon.Leetch, Carolee Manion, Roland Manion, Charlotte Pierce, Emily Roan, Joyce Tlamka, Sandra Todd, and Jan Vedder. Class officers were Sandra Todd - President; Joyce Herbaugh - Vice-President; Jan Vedder - Secretary; and Rebecca Kampbell - Treasurer. In our Sophomore class of 1959 we lost Tom Hewitt, Mike Kiger, and Charlotte Pierce, and in their place came Pat Huss, Sharron Risden, Dean Williams and Earl Thompson. Class officers were Conn Fickel - President; Betty Dyer - Vice-President; Joyce Tlamka - Secretary; and Sandra Todd - Treas- urer. In our Junior class of '60 we lost Joyce Herbaugh, Dean Williams, and in their place gained Anne Crawford, Mike Kiger, and Charles Petersen. Class officers were Jan Vedder - President; Betty Dyer - Vice-President; Carolee Manion - Secretary; Becky Kampbell - Treasurer; and Sandra Todd - News Reporter. Then in our Senior year we lost Sharron Risden, Anne Crawford, and Earl Thompson. We now have with us the luckiest number in Hemingford High School which is thirteen. Glass III)iIf BETTY DYER - Wills her ability to talk, to Douglas Krejci. CONN FICKEL - Wills his ability to run to Bernard Gasseling. TERESA GASSELING - Wills her ability to worry to Paul Kampbell. BECKY KAMPBELL - Wills her brains to her little sister. MIKE KIGER - Wills his ability to stay out of mischief to David Dufek. SHARON LEETCH - Wills her car to Ronnie Burney so he won't have to ride his bicycle. CAROLEE MANION - Wills her intelligence to Bill Hinchley. ROLAND MANION - Wills his ability to get to school on time to Sheila Headden. EMILY ROAN - Wills her ability to be true to Paul to Wanda Hinchley. JAN VEDDER - Wills her ability to change colors of her hair to Georgia Schramek. CHARLES PETERSEN - Wills his quietness to Jerry Lawson. SANDRA TODD - Wills her ability to chew gum to Sheryl Keane. JOYCE TLAMKA - Wills her long fingernails to Barbara Stull. With a lot of ad-libbing we managed to present a fairly good class night program, at least we had fun. We finished the evening off with a weiner roast at the park. At last the big night arrived. We entered upon the exer- cises of the evening with mixed anticipation and sorrow. Now there is nothing left but a majestic memory, a memory that we will cherish forever.
