Our wheat fields must undergo a lengthy series of preparation before a single tiny seed can be dropped into their furrows. The farmer is faced with a decision of choosing the variety of wheat best adapted to his locality. In our educational system we must fulfill the requirements of a series of preparatory grades before graduating on to the higher level of education - high school. Our teachers shoulder the responsibility of selecting the best possible curriculum, with respect to available facilities in order to turn out more intelligent individuals and more well-rounded citizens of the U. S.

 £et ’$ Begin to Ceam The beginning of school, kindergarten, is the time when the seed is planted to achieve a plentiful harvest toward reaching your senior year in school. When planting the seed there are many things to consider: Learning to play with others, as well as working together; to become more inde- pendent; learning to use scissors, paste, and crayons; listening to stories and poems, and learning many songs.
