The members of the Class of 1958 are to be commended for dedicating your Annual to your parents to whom you owe so much. PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE . . . Congratulations! I deem it a pleasure to commend you, Seniors of Hemingford High, for this accomplishment--your year- book. As the year of 1958 walks across the stage of your life, you may very well find it the most important year of all. It is the beginning of a great and new experience. Life has become so complex and strenuous that it is important and necessary that each one of you be a pan of it. Everyone will frankly admit that we are living in a period without its equal. It is my wish that the years to follow will be filled with the truly important things of life. MR. GLENN BOSLEY, M. E., U. of Nebr. MRS. JOSEPHINE JOHNSON, B. A. , Chadron State MRS. 'DecUcttftoH As the doors close on one of the biggest achievements of our life, we, the senior class of 1958, wish to dedicate this annual to our parents, as a token of thanks for the help they have given us in attaining this goal. We realize the hard work and sacrifice that have gone into the years from the time when they started us out on our first day of school with a slight look of anxiety on their faces, to the night when they watched us proudly as we marched down the aisle in cap and gown. As we leave home to take on occupations and families of our own, we want them to know that we will always cherish the memories of our times together in school, church, and family activities. The program in which each member of the class took part included group singing, the parting will whereby the class as a whole and individually bequeathed to the underclassmen all the traits and personal belongings for which they were so well known, and a total blackout in which a voice from the future myste- riously foretold what each member of the class would be doing in twenty long years from the present. Farewell, High School, Farewell All in all, the class had a wonderful time in what was their last get together as an entire class for the purpose of having fun and goof- ing off. It will be a night long remembered. Time has passed - now I see-- 'T'lty it — a night both anticipated and secretly dreaded came at last for the twenty-four graduates. Finally, with diploma in hand, they were advanced to an adult world. The long years of waiting and the determined study and hard work had reached a culmination for this level of education, and each looked to the future with faith in tomorrow, with a desire to find continued success, and with determination to make the world a better place because they had been in it.
