SENIGR CLASS PRCJPHECY While tak1ng my usual evemng stroll on the moon I saw J 1m Campbell s umversally known restaurant Moon Cafe where he serves h1s spectalty space burgers Thts new dtsh cons1sts of exploded meat balls between atr puffed blms These are qutte tasty and I dectded I was qu1te htmgry so I went 1n and bought myself one Someone put a coinxnthe Juke box and the song, Satelite Ntght sang by Audrey Myers came bound1ng forth. Wlule hstaung to the sad stratus of the song, I looked around the restaurant and there was someone readlng a book by an author whose name was famthar to me Th1nk1ng back over the years I placed the name of Rlchard Sanders as an old frtend of mme H1s book, Moonslune was sellmg very well on both the moon and Mars Carole Fox universally famous reporter came mto the restaurant and when she recogmzed me she came over and told me that Gerald England the famous detectwe, had just captured pubhc enemy 4141 Ertue Robmson who had stolen the only eX1SIl11g map to earth. She had an appomtment w1th Mr England she was to tntervtew h1m about how he was gomg to capture public enemy 32 Larry Sawyer who had stolen the plans of the Sp1tBallRocket for enemy ag ts I remember Mr Sawyer as a man who somewhat resembled myself At thts ume Mr England entered the cafe, and M1ss Fox Jomed him At a few tables dlstance, I caught blts of the conversatton, and M1ss Fox was trymg to oonvlnce Mr England that my tdemty was not that of Mr Sawyer I wasn t gomg to take any chances and l decided the Moon was no place for me if I was gomg to be nustaken for Mr Sawyer Qtuckly Ihastened to Rocket Feller Square to engage a pilot and a mechamc to take me to Mars The former Laura Parks now wife of the owner of Rocket Feller Square mtroduced me to Roland Fox the SCIEIIISI who designed and built the Sp1t Ball Rocket and lus now famous test p1lot Roy West I explamed Jerry Ruffin, who was made famous for his space moblle, and then suggested that I take Don Altop and Stan Haarer as my ptlot and mecharuc Iqu1ck1y folmd them and told them my pltght, They agreed to take me on my m1ss1on We were well on our way to Mars when our plane crashed mto a floatzng house designed by Mary Jane Rodgers and owned by Frances Rutter Frances was also famously known for her elaborate parues that can start on the moon and end on Mars The house was unmjured but the crash had made us lose all four of our fuel tanks Because of tlus we were rapldly losmg alt1tude and descendmg to earth We made a safe landmg near the 500 rmle race track just ll'I ume to see B111 Hutchmson drlve mto the v1ctory lane for his fourth stratght wm He was the f1rst man on earth to accomphsh the darmg feat of wlnmng four successive races He was gettmg h1s congratulauon k1ss from the movxe star Barbara Coffman The spothght IS shared w1th Gene Waltman lus mechamc Look1ng throudx the crowd I see the former Susanne Andre, now the w1fe of Selvts Presley The years seem to have been good to her Also tn the crowd IS Melvm Richards cand1date for the Prestdent of the Umted States All the experts seem to dunk he w11l win the elecuon m a breeze. We decide we can t tarry on earth any longer We persuade Stan to steal some atomic fuel and tanks from Barnes and Helms Enterpnses Tlusnoblepatr after rettrmg from thelr teachmg careers have done much tn the defense of their country With the fuel, we once agam take off for Mars We once agam see more old frtends We are Just Ln ttme to see the Super Somc Basketball Team play the f1rst game of the season, The1r star Dav1d Bell, 18 up to par and the coach, Danny Reruhan IS to be congratulated upon the fme Job of coaclung he had done. Thelr cheerleader Dolores Ackerman goes through some fantasttc exerctses tn leadlng the crowd on to cheermg the team to v1ctory In the crowd I see the queen of the Umversity Roste Merriman, and her escort IS none other than Norwood Leshe, the flat top lad who is dr1ving all the women on Mars crazy with h1s cool flat top I am txred after my long Joumey and after paying Don and Stan, I purchase one of Mary Jane Rodgers floating homes.
