7 TTQjuD® IT© ®w Graduation 1987 was per- formed again at the Horn,) Adams Fieldhouse before a nearly packed audience of Aunts, Uncles, grandparents, brothers.sisters, and parents. Speaker Dr. Harry Fritz, UM history professor, addressed the 272 members of the graduating class of 1987. The Hellgate Symphonic Band, under the direction of John H. Combs, performed Pomp and Cir- cumstance and Festive Overture . The graduates filed up to the stage to receive their diplomas from Ruth Card, Missoula County High School Board Chairuuoman. Rex Stem, Valedictorian and class president, said a feuu last tuords to his fellow graduates of 1987. Following graduation, many of the graduates attended the city- wide All-Nite party at the Universi- ty of Montana UC Ballroom. One Last UUord- Valedictorian and Class President Rex Stem says a few final words to his fellow classmates at Graduation 1987. Holding Her Head High- Graduate Lisa UUalsch is proud to have made it through four grueling years at Hellgate. Any senior in Missoula County was welcome to attend. This year, seniors danced to the Bop-a-Dips and the Coup R's. They also watched movies, played video games, poker and pool. Many door prizes were given away, including a dorm refrigerator, stereo, and television sets.
