Chevies Shine in Spring Concert- Kim Kempfert, Kathy €vjen, LUendy Schnautz, Chaney leilani Keele, Margie UUalters, Mike Meola, Joy Nelson, Robin UUilliams, Shonna Rhein, 8ob Balbi, Aaron Green, Shan Larson, Ppt Daugherty, and Saxon Holbrook. Y Tie 1987 Spring Concert ujas indeed showtime' for the Hellgate Chevaliers. Senior Annie Chorich uuas the sole choreographer for the performance. UUe couldn't hove osked for o better choreographer, reflected Chevy director Dean Peterson. Peterson also thought that the Chevies peaked lost year, with roughly three-quarters of them being senior members. The maturity level of the chorus was high ond they were always trying to excell, praised Peterson. In only three weeks of after-school and late-night rehearsals, the entire show was pieced together. The show wos put together in record time,” added Peterson. He considers the show to be the highlight of his first year ot Hellgate. For 1988, Peterson is hoping to hove Chorich, who is now o University of Montano student, organize the donee routines again. Gary ftandles Dominate elections B his year’s student elections were filled uuith enthusiastic speeches and packed uuith campaign promises for a better year. Many of these promises included getting better parking, open- campus study hall for seniors, an awesome prom and basically more general freedom for students. €ach class votes for a president, vice president and six represen- tatives. However, the Senior Class has seven. The candidates whose speeches most impressed the stu- dent body now make up the Stu- dent Federation. The 1987-88 members are: Freshmen Class President Anna Volinkaty and Vice President Josh Henderson. Sophomore Class President John Curtis and Vice President Kate Mit- chell. Junior Class President Brian Murphy and Vice President Marianne Byrne. Senior Class Presi- dent Bill Curtis and Vice President €ric Myrdal. Student Body President Hennry Gary and Vice President Destry Randles. Ule're trying to do things that uiill really mean something and even if they don't uiork out it will be worth it trying. --H.H.
