Students Dash To Lunch Although most of the day the cafe- teria is a quiet study hall, the mo- ment the twelve o’clock bell rings, it is transformed into what seems a world of total anarchy and confu- sion. Students form two lines, one circling the cafeteria, the other ex- tending into the hall, and settle in for a surprisingly short wait for lunch. With the new six period day, all of Hellgate’s students have lunch be- tween twelve and one o'clock. This is the only time during the day that they are free to wander or leave the campus. While many students chose to eat elsewhere, the cafete- ria is always thronging with those who have chosen to make use of it’s facilities. The new system is not flawless and seems a bit chaotic most of the time, but Hellgate stu- dents are being fed, and manage to survive.
