In high school, however, we become more aware of the realism and complexities of our international society. Approaching adulthood, we must learn to cope with worldly problems by understanding and respecting other people. The idea of international understanding is furthered in many ways at Missoula County High School. Some of these are the social science courses, the language classes and clubs, the section of the library devoted to world litera- ture, the chance to work with teachers who have traveled abroad, and the A.F.S. program, which sends students to various sections of the globe and brings foreign students to live and study with us. Therefore, the 1962-63 BITTERROOT has been molded around an international theme; the art work portraying this concept. I
