Principal THE CHALLENGE . . . The American people are becoming aware that the future of our nation depends upon the QUALITY of our educational program. They are showing more interest in their public schools than ever before in the history of our country, and are concerned that PROGRESS shall continue in all aspects of our educational program. Too, they are realizing that the suc- cess of our DEMOCRACY rests on wise par- ticipation in public affairs and on the respect of the individual wherever his talents lie. I feel certain that the class of 1958 will join with the people of Montana and the nation in meeting this CHALLENGE to develop an edu- cational program of such scope and diversity as to enable EVERY boy and girl to rise to his or her best potential.
