MISSOULA-7, POCATELLO-7 lack Lovell, the Spartan kicking specialist, came into the Buddy Sellers Fullbacl: Pickens qoes through. game and booted the extra point that gave Missoula their fourth straight tie. Lovells kick came after Pickens smashed two yards for a touchdown. The Spartans were baffled in the first half, by the indians' single wing attack. Pocatello made good their offensive drive late in the sec- ond quarter as halfback Paul Smith went over for the tally. Fumbles hurt both sides but they were attributed to the fierce tackling by both clubs. Pickens was again the most effective Bob Anderson runner for the Spartans.
