This year has given me so much that I don't have the words to describe it. I can't ever thank AFS. Helix, and all the people I met throughout the year enough. My first speech in English was at Freshmen Orientation. I am sure that the other newcomers couIdn't have been more confused about the new, large, complicated looking school lwith palm trees on the campus?I than I was. After a while, I learned to go to different places on the school campus. At the beginning of the school year. the spirit was great at the football games with our band and corps halftime shows. I enjoyed the ASB and the student government and l am glad that I had the opportunity to work closely with all the student leaders and Mr. Grainger. I got some good ideas which I maybe could use in our school. because I still have two more years to go there. Oh. I will be busy! Anytime you visit Europe, don't miss Finland ................. everybody is welcome! AFS... Tana watches as her American brother plays with his toys. The Costello's enjoy having Tarja as a member of their family. Time For Friendship Taria takes a moment to relax. Debbie and Tarja perform their household duties.
