Homecoming proved to be a success as our campus slowly filled with Helix graduates throughout the day. With. Time, Where Did You Go? as the theme of the Alumni Tea, Helix alumni returned with surprised and anxious expressions on their faces, reaquainting themselves with old friends and teachers. The assembly brought memories as the ASB presented a skit taking everyone back to our first homecoming. The day was highlighted as Pam Faught was crowned to reign as the 1971 Homecoming Queen. The Solid Brass brought the evening to a close as they presented two hours of spectacular music. Homecoming crowd Homecoming court is introduced at the after-game dance.

The climax of Homecoming Week was the crowning of the 1971 Homecoming Queen. As the princesses stepped onto the football field, the crowd anxiously awaited the announcement. Silence spread over the entire stadium as Pam Faught was proclaimed queen. Pam excitedly stepped forth to receive her royal crown and robe from Gwen De La Houssaye. and began her reign as our new Homecoming Queen. As the princesses left the field, Queen Pam followed them. making 1971 Homecoming . . . ATime To Remember. Princess Tarja arrives in style with her escort. Jerry. Band and Hi-Steppers share enthusiasm with the Homecoming Court.
