clfallecllictonmj ln graduating from high school we seniors can look back on some of the pleasantest moments of our lives. In years to come we will remember not the things we have learned from books and study, but the good times and fun we've had. Helena High has been good to us. It has helped us, uplifted us, maybe pushed us if necessary. In various ways we have tried to grow along with our school and help it to its place in the sun. Now as we go on in the world it will be a mark of distinction to be able to say I graduated from Helena High. The value of our high school days to us will be meas- ured not so much by the number of A's we got in chem- istry as by the number of friends we've made. As we push on through life it will be things like that which will make living worthwhile and our lives a SUCCESS. HELENA HIGH SCHOOL HIGHEST RANKING SENIORS CLASS OF 1946 Stanley Rathman Lucille Hardy Ione Weiss Marjorie Dreher Florence Bryan Frances Burgess Shirley Spores Iean Handel Dick Carstensen Betty Lou Hall Io Shearer Laverne Lutz Sailutatonmj We, the graduates of the Class of 1946 leave Helena High school with the knowledge that we are now better prepared to take the next step in our lives. We have been taught by the ablest of instructors whom we shall not forget because of their efforts in our behalf. We have learned the value of the numerous friendships which we have made during our high school days. We regret that these pleasant associations must now be disrupted to a certain extent since the class will separate and go different ways to follow their chosen fields of endeavor. Our tasks naturally will become more difficult, but our capabilities have been greatly improved by what we have learned from our high school education. We now go forward to do our part in the upbuilding of the eco- nomic, moral, spiritual, and political status of the world. We hope that we shall not fail in our duties to contrib- ute to the welfare of all mankind. WALTER SCHMITZ Salutatorian Rosemary Serumgard
