Washington- Williamsburg Heiskell students look forward to the sixth and seventh grades, when they can go on the Washington-Williamsburg trip. The journey begins with a sleepless night on the Southern Crescent. The itinerary in Washington includes tours of the major points on interest fincluding Arlington, Alexandria, and Mount Vernonl, with per- sonal visits to our Georgia senators' of- fices where special attention is given to our group. From the Washington area, the students are taken by bus to Wil- liamsburg, where they participate in edu- cational tours designed for our group by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and dine at the colonial taverns and the Williamsburg Inn. Student Council Our Student Council represen- tatives have had a busy year. They manned two booths at the Fall Festival and sponsored Heiskell's Friday-Night-at-the-Movies. The Arts Field trips provide for Heiskell students a first-hand acquain- tance with their community. Trips to the Atlanta Symphony, Atlanta Children's Theater, and the At- lanta Ballet help them develop an appreciation for the performing arts. -v , , V , 50 J .
