Heidelberg American High Schools Debate Team has taken first place in every debate tournament for the past six years due to the excellent coaching of their Sponsor, Ms. McCollar. With Heather Malogrides in the lead as captain, the goal of this year's team was to maintain that winning streak. This involved many hours of research in order to become familiar with the topics to be debated. After this rigouous preparation, a pre-toumament was held in Heidelberg to determine the two best teams who would be representing our school in the February Tournament held at Kaiserslautern. There, our teams competed with other DODDS students from American schools all over West Germany. Pic. Left: Heather Malogrides finds being the debate captain a confusing job.

MUN's fund raisers included selling refresh- ments at the concession stand, and occasion- al car washes and bake sales. MUN also spon- sored MSC hMock Security CounciD which took place here in Heidelberg. Clubs 49
