he arrival of spring marked the beginning of many new events at 111 15. There were alsu the traditional events such as Valentine carnations and kisses sold by the sophomore Class and the cheerleaders. During Fasching. an early dismissal allowed students to crowd the llauptstrasse to support the cheer- leaders and drill team as they marched in the parade. Breaking. slamming. aml popping were some of the popular dance steps that cuuld he seen at the Victnry Dance. the .IROTC Military Ballxantl the Irinal Hing . The 11118 cnmpetitive spirit was evident at the Drama lest in Wiesbaden. the HHS gym duringer the pep rally for spring sports. and at the fun-l'illetl Blue and Gold Night. The competition continued when ten lovely heauties competed for the title of'Missetl America 1983. The highlight 0f must everyune's springsv was Spring Break. Many juniors and seniors vacatiunecl in Spain. Others visited such exotic places as Tunisia. Iigypt. and Moroccol An event which seniors and juniors anticipated all year was the junior Senior Prom. IlClLl at the Heidelberg Castle. it was a lovely evening for all who attended. The yearhuuks were given out on May 30. 1985. It was a time for remembering old and new friends with auto- graphs and wise thoughts So. as one Can see. the Spring of 1983 supplied many x'aluahle memories of life at llllS.
