The strength of the team was directly related to the fact that there were so many returnees, nine of which were returning letter- men. An illusive and fast backfield combined with a huge offensive line provided the Lions with a very productive offense. Stamina and Speed were the key aspects that made the defense so tough. A productive offense, a tough defense, and great depth in all posi- tions, helped the Varsity Football team to be one of their best seasons ever. Varsity Football 141
