Color Guard jROTC has many objectives to be completed throughOUt the school year. Some of them included developing leadership, self-relience, discipline, and patriotism. Each cadet built up a knowledge of basic military skills with various kinds of field exercises, physical training, and marksmanship. There were also a number of extra-curricular activities such as Color Guard, Drill Team, Honor Guard,ar1d Rifle Team. Enrollment ianOTC could lead to an appointment to the US. Military Academy or to a four-year SeniorjROTC Scholarship. This year the HHS Lion Battalion was designated as Honor Unit with Distinction wDepartment of Army s highest recognitiom for the seventh year out OfChe eleven years of its existence.
