The Seniors Last Stand Honor Student Karen Barnes gives the first speech on May 20. Honor Student Regina Linker makes the second speech. The concluding speech was given by Honor Graduate Becky Fulmer. David Owens was chosen by his classmates to Sonlight (Lori Burch, Tammy Gregory, JaNiece Rackley, and give the devotional at the Graduation Exercises, accompanied by Liz Freeman) sang the senior class song, Against All Odds.

Senior Award Winners Because of her hard work during her school years, Karen Barnes was presented a Scholastic Medal recognizing her as an honor graduate. In recognition of her scholastic achievement as an honor graduate, Regina Linker received a Scholastic Honor Med- al. Regina also received an $800 scholarship to attend Tech. During the Graduation Exercise, Becky Fulmer received a Scholastic Honor Medal for being an honor graduate. She also received the Crouch Memorial Scholarship for $500 to be used for college expenses. David Owens was se- lected by the faculty to receive the Leadership Award for the leader- ship potential shown during his high school years. Daron Robertson was chosen by the faculty to receive the Citizenship Award because of the way he conducted him- self in every situation during his school years. He also received a $400 scholarship to attend Tech because of his ACT Score. William Hill received a $200 PTSA Scholarship to help with his college education. William plans to enroll at Tech in the fall. As a result of her ACT score, Chris Warren re- ceived an $800 scholar- ship to attend Tech. In recognition of his academic ability as shown on the ACT Test, Bruce Link was awarded a $400 award to attend Tech.
