Hunting and fishing are popular pastimes of our superintendent and school hoard members. School board members include at the top left, Paul Thompson, who serves as secre- tary, Boyce Burch, vice president, and Opal Bartlett, president. Other members include at left, Glen Bibler and Paul Allison. As well as being in charge of deciding school policies, the school board members are interested in the welfare of all Hector stu- dents. 7

Grade school teachers’ aides are Pat Athey and Sara Rackley. Mr. lack Gowin is the grade school and middle school principal. Norma Burch works at the high school as secretary and teachers’ aide and Bobbye Swaim is the high school secretary and book- keeper. Mr. G. B. Swaim is the principal of the high school. 8
