JLINIORS The class of 57 started our Junior year by electing class officers. Catherine Niles was electedpresident, Jerome Carlson, vice presidentg Janice Jahnke, secre- taryg and Roger Evenson, treasurer. This year's ad- visors were Mrs. Rude and Mr. Roepke. One of the thrilling events for us this year was our part in Homecoming. We were in charge of lining up the paradeg our float, Gopher Merry-Go-Round , was a- warded second prize. Our class has worked very hard this year. We pre- sented on November ll and 12 our play, Clemetime . One of the most exciting events was the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet which we gave on April 28 honoring the Seniors. All of our time was not spent for fun. In March a steak dinner was giveng we had food sales, candy sales, game concessions, and a Halloween party to help raise money for the Senior Class trip we will take next year.
