Twitchell and his wife Ruth arrived at Hebron Academy in 1946. Over the last 34 years they have both made many major contributions to the Academy and its community. During his career as a Physics teacher Mr. Twitchell was Chairman of the Science Department for 32 years, coach and advi- sor for several activities, as well as our instructor of Driver's Education. Many of us will always remember Mr. Twitchell forthe integral part he played in the development and design of the George W. Treat Science Building. Along with Mr. Twitchell we also recog- nize his wife Ruth for her many years of service to the Academy in the capacity of bookkeeper, secretary, and college coun- selor to the Director of Studies, as we-I as Registrar. Hebron Academy and its community extend their appreciation and gratitude to both Jerald and Ruth Twitchell for their 34 years of service. Best wishes. -Mf. Twitchells retire after 34 YEARS lp s- N. John Park Yasuda Miriam Woodru 474 N. Faring Road Los Angles, CA IN MEMORIAM Roland Berry's exuberance and cheerfulness distinguished him among his peers. He was an honor student in his sophomore year, ranking 11th out of 240 students. We are thankful for RoIand's attitude, he left us a rich legacy concerning living, life is more than a quantity of years. lt is actually most important that we consider the quality of life instead. This attitude, combined with Roland's quick sense of homor, his disciplined approach to his studies, and his determination to overcome obstacles add further to our memories of him. The quality of FioIand's life continues to live on within us. Reverend Robert P.
