ROBERT DRAYTON METCALF A.B,, Amherst, Ed.M,, Harvard English After being here for over fifteen years, Mr, Metcalf is getting to be a Hebron institution. When anyone returns to Hebron, it seems that one of the first persons he looks up and asks after, is Metty, as the old grads invariably and respectfully call him. The boards of The Green Parrot and Hebronian always enioy working with him. You will find that the success of several proiects which have been carried out during the school year, are totally or partially due to the interest and effort of Mr Metcalf We shall never forget him for the fine friend and benefactor he has been during our tay at Hebron Coach Hollis is a fine teacher, a very good coacn, and, last, but not least, friend to all about the campus The possessor of one of the livelfest wits among the faculty, he enlightened many a chapel meeting with glowing tales of the basketball trips l-lis classroom technique is also entertaining, and includes such ex pressions as Getting brief, arent you? l ll have to get brief with your rank, and Speed it up, is half asleep When snow descended, he collected his basketeers and enioyecl a successful season Now that spring is here we are sure he will do likewise in baseball Coachs discipline is not too hard as discipline goes, as can be testified by the Howe inmates Docking comes only after warning in his system Those of us who graduate this year will the best of success with his teams in the years to come 6 always remember Coach HolTis, and we wish him az g ll l ?f, T: ff?
