, - A- 1 THE BLUEBIRDS i' Contrary to, their usual custom a iiock of bluebirds wintered in Hebron this year. These gay creatures, smartly dressed in bright blue coats, are known at H. C. Sz A. as the College Sophomores. The male portion of the class, likewise contrary to the habits of their feathered namesakes, did the bulk of the work, while the ladies showed their admiration in outbursts of song in their honor. On the basketball Hoon the boys showed their fighting instinct by repel- ling all invaders and winning the championship for H. C.-the girls cheering them on. But the outstanding achievement for which the Bluebirds will long be remembered as dispensers of happiness, is the sponsoring of the HE-CO-AC. Since the first step to success is a definite aim the Bluebirds were fortunate in having an Ehrn who as Editor-in- Chief, made it possible to attain the goal. Barney, though he had no Spark Plug, furnished the humor by means of a camera. Fitzie, the Advertising Manager, was so successful that Shorty was never short in his accounts as Business Manager. Dale, as Associate Editor, and Babe as Activities Editor, did only what can be ex- pected of the fair sex. But as able assistants the other Bluebirds, Prissie the Sheba, Tillie the talker, Feta the 'And So Forthj and Sinkum, the handy man, did their part as loyal Bluebirds Would. Two other able workers were Adalene and Dorothy, who may be called the wrens of the Sophomore Class. ! i- .M W' S : , T T if ' XQTFQ-'M' wi J' , -HWJTYECEW ' 1 Page Ten ,
