The 1955 Wolves finished the football season with eight victories and two losses . Our seven victories came at the expense of Hartford, Waldron, Panama, Haileyville, Hart- shorne, Quinton, and Spiro. The I-lartshorne game was won by a forfeit and the game with Spiro which ended in a tie was won on penetrations by Heavener. In conference play the Heavener Wolves finished in second place . The highlight of the football season was the game with the Wllburton Diggers . The Wolves were defeated 18-14 in the last 18 seconds of play.
