CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1942, we, the seniors of 1946, began that voyage commonly called 'high school , as a class of 99 eager, education pursuing students. lever was a class more industrious in school work HJ, or loyal in the participation and support of activities. And so we smoothly passed the first league and on into the second. We were still loyal and industrious even though many of our members were going into service and war work so that our number had greatly decreased. Then the laamching upon the third league. We were more earnest then because wer had brought the realization of what the privilege of attending a public school in a democracy like ours really means. Each did his duty, individually and as a class, to support fthe war drives and benefits. Then, suddenly, the war was over and I We happily and triumphantly began the last league of our voyage by welcoming back among us those who had gone to war. We. the seniors of '46, stately and dignified, approach the end of our voyage where we launch upon a greater one. Success , we are coming ea rly to meet your halfway. May we always keep our lives pure and true to is highest of ideals and meet each blue dey with a will to do our best beater. Surely then every cloud will have a silver lining. CLASS WILL To Whom It lay Concern: We the Seniors of 1946 in order to establish e. lasting memorial in the minds of teachers and fellow students do hereby bequeath the said affections and properties to the said students: Lorena Allinder leaves, but refuses to leave her gum. Claudia mnn leaves Marvin in care of Melvin. Reba Dann leaves her changeable temperament to Roberta Bishop. Dorothy June Germany leaves her knowledge of the E. H. S. Library to Miss Amiok lhnma Jean Hembree leaves a private hairdresser to Modena Hayes. lvelyn Lane wills her speed to Annabel Garnett. Jo Dean Lellay leaves her giggles to Lola Dmcan.
