CLASS WILL To Whom It May Concern: Greeting: The Senior Class of Heavener High School of the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred forty-five, being of sane mind and sound body, but feeling that our demise is drawing near and wishing to bequeath our valuable effects to those whom we think are deserving do make and establish this our last will and testment in the presence of competent witnesses, this eighteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred forty-five. To Wit: Item I To the members of the faculty we leave all the knowledge acquired from our notebooks and examination papers which was passed around freely throughout the class before being turned over to you. We are sure that this bequest will be fully appreciated by you since much of it was never before found in any books ever written. f Item II To the Juniors who will be our successors in these halls of learning we wish to bequeath lst Our Nbelovedn faculty to do with ss they see fit. 2nd We leave to you our ability to win the Halloween Queen Contest. 3rd We also leave to you our ability to frame unusual and novel excuses to escape cless room boredom. Item III To the Sophmores we wish to bequeath: Our ability to raise money for contests and Junior-Senior banquets. 2nd Our ability for getting by. And last but by no means least all the chewing gum we have let stack up under the seats and desks during our school days. Item IV To the Freshman Class we wish to bequeath: The memory of ourselves as an example of the three years necessary to attain the rank, dignity and knowledge of a full-fledged Senior: to you we also leave our ability to kid the teacher into thinking we know some- thing when we don't. Item Y A few personal bequests: Ola Lea Azlin leaves her ability to act as substitute coach for the basketball team to Patricia Perry. Patsy Ruth Black leaves her ability to make up excuses for being absent to Phyllis Edge. Paul Bullard leaves his lost, strayed, or stolen trunks to any one who finds them. Jackie Freeman leaves his histrionic ability to C. L. Azlin. Kenneth Frederick leaves his poor worn out typewriter to anyone who will have it. Mack Hall Jr. leaves his winning smile and charming personality to Kenny Harmon. Norvell Lewis leaves the steering wheel of his bus to the future driver. Donald Holcomb leaves his ability to be uneociable to Scottie Self. Lynndon Irvin just leaves...much to the relief and happiness of the students and faculty. Elizabeth Johnson leaves her job as chief librarian to anyone who has the energy. Neil Little 'leaves his management of the theatre to Billy Jack hgh. Bob Lindsey leaves his standing room in the Tailor Shop to Teddy Bryant. Frances Layne leaves her ability for cutting classes to Ben Layne. Mary Nelson leaves her locker and her likes and dislikes of certain things to Lola Duncan. Bernice Pitman leaves her general liking of people and friendly manner to Lorene Allinder. Blanche Merchant leaves her quiet ways to Hazel Lynch. Homer Reese leaves his excuses for being late to English Class to Evelyn Lane. Josephine Richards leaves her gum to Jackie Brewer. Norma Stripling leaves what's left of her regular noon hour passengers to Betty Inucks. Fairena Welton leaves her ability to play basketball to Dorothy Bain. Nadean Burns leaves her Bookkeeping ability to Dora Jean Pledger. Donna Woods leaves her Home Economics ability to Bessie Lee Tiffee. Voloney Watson leaves his good looks to Gerald Gaughern. Tommy Joe Robinson leaves his agricultural ability to Ezra Germany. Donald Sexton leaves all his good marks to Charles Elders. Bobbye Weatherford wishes to bequeath her nickname Nhoostern to any one who will accept it. Welton Kelly leaves Bettye .... ..tragic, isn't it? Ione Williams leaves her seriousness to Ann Mobley.
