Boy Scouts of America Scouting is a leisure time program that gives the boys an opportunity for expression. Scouting is a character building citizenship training pro- gram. Every Scout takes a Scout Oath and lives ac- cording to the laws of the Scout which have twelve distinct character building phases. The oath and law are as follows: THE OAT1-1: On my honor I will do my hest to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law. To help other people at all times. To keep myself physically strong, ment- ally awake, and morally straight. Officers of Troop 21 and Troop ll are: Jack Carroll, Scoutmaster, John W. Koon and B. K. Dowell, Assistant Scoutmasters.
