GIRLS' TRIO HE Girls' Trio has as its purpose the stim- ulation of musical interest within the school and the presentation of programs for the enjoyment of the students and the community. Its activities during the school year have included presenta- tions in student assemblies, special programs, and COlTlI'nCl'1CelTleI1t pI'OgI'a,IT1. The trio is composed of: Mary Edith Lax, first sopranog Anna Jean McKinney, mezzo sopranog Carolyn Tanner, alto.

A The A Cappella Choir has performed efficient- ly in the many programs and activities through- out the year. Under the supervision of Miss Thyra Creekmur, such programs as a carnival, operettas, Armistice Day program, Thanksgiv- ing Day Festival, and a Christmas cantata were sponsored. The choir entered the First District Music Contest held at Murray. BOYS' QUARTET Everyone enjoys the inspiring spirituals, bul- lads, and semi-classical numbers sung by the Heath quartet. Many of our varied programs during the year would not have been complete without their contributions. The quartet this year is composed of Harry Gish, first tenorg Page Crawford, second tenorg Herbert Lax, baritoneg and lirnnlslin Lax, bass.
