This is an inside view of the typing room. The Commercial Department is quite popular with the students. Our equipment, which is modern throughout, consists of 18 typewriters, one Speed-O-Graph and one Ditto Machine. Business Training, Sales- manship, Bookkeeping and Shorthand are included in the commercial curriculum. These girls have achieved success in their many forms of tumbling and pyramid building which is an excellent form of physical activity. This is the first year in the history of Heath High School that a Tumbling Club has been sponsored for girls. TUMBLING TEAM Instituted as a new extra-curricula activity during the school year of 1936-1937 was tumbling. Great progress was made with the activity under the direction of Mr. Jack Carroll. The feats of the tumblers proved entertaining on several occasions. This form of physical education is of great value in developing rhythm, balance, and timing: and is a healthful form of exercise.
