'mr Charles Doc', Morris- Doc ended his basketball career at Heath in a blaze of glory. Before this season he was considered a dead goal shot from any position. This year his shooting suffered, but his splendid all-round playing and fine leadership made him invaluable as cap- tain of the team. His score of 14 points was a big factor in defeating Tilghman in the District Tournament. We hate to see you go, Doc',l Travis Canup - Canup, a very consistent athlete, play- ed with his eye on the baske' This is Canup's first year on the varsity, but being just a Sophomore we are sure he will be beneficial to the squad the next two years. ,lust you watch his smoke! Page Crawford-l'revious to the present year Page was regulated to the reserves. Breaking into the starting line-up in the second game of the season, he filled one of the guard's positions the re- mainder of the year. Page is a fair passer, a good floor man, an excellent long shot and a whale of a defensive man. QAsk Alderson.j Too bad he is a Senior. Edwin Uvelstreet-Nlfdn, or Over,', as he was sometimes called, has been a fighting Pirae for the past three years. His scoring and scrap- ping will not be soon for- gotten and his vacancy will not be easy to fill. Charles Mauiice Hill- Char- lie, playing only two years of basketball became one of the best players to ever attengl Heath. He crowned a suc- cessful s e a s on by being honored with a place on the All-Regional team. Charlie is a Senior and will be missed! Th Ralph Cathey-Cathey, a Sophomore, broke in as a regular late in the season. His fight and determination fin- ally winning the coveted place for him. Cathey will make basketball history be- fore he graduates. BPI Manager Landsel Carneal- -liggsu. an efficient manager, who had the confidence of his players and his coach, was a big factor in keeping the boys in great spirits. He was a valuable asset to the team. Next year he'll be playing instead of managing. Page ffzirfy-fain'
