LOUISE GERHART School Nurse Heath High Offers Many Speeial Opperfaaifies library Heath' s library has great- ly improved during the past year due to the efforts of the school's librarian, Mrs. McQuinn. Many books have been add- ed to the library shelves, through gifts from the Class of '65, Work of the Key Club and many o th e r interested people. Veeal Marie Vocal music at Heath High hit a new high during the school year under the guid- ance of Mrs. Glaser, vocal music instructor. Several conc erts were given during the schoolyear, the vocal music groups sang at assemblies and programs throughout the year. Nurse Mrs. Crerhart, the school Nurse, was always standing by in case she was needed, and needed she was many times during the year by both students and faculty. Complete physical records are made of all the students at Heath during the year by Mrs. Cerhart. 24

B oth college-bound and work-bound students enjoy and participate in these courses. In the Home Economic Department, girls learn the fundamentals of cooking and sewing. They W rite papers and reports on various subjects concernedwith self-improvement and adjustment to present and future life. In Industrial Arts, boys learn the correct and safe ways of using mac hine ry, and Work with metal and wood.

In Physical Education students study and participate in a Wide variety of sports ranging from baseball to tumbling and modern dance.
